Now available in 6 configurations, the Ahearne+MAP handlebar was designed to be a comfortable all around commuter bar. It has an ergonomic bend that follows the natural hand position of a rider, making it easy on the wrists. The design is based on a the old Cinelli "Pope" bar, and has been adapted to fit modern mountain bike brake levers and shifters. Grip area diameter, 7/8”. There is a 25mm rise from the stem clamp, which means the bar can also be flipped and used with a drop if that’s your preference.

Some shifter and brake lever combinations take quite a lot of space, and don't leave much room for the hands. For those combinations we recommend the wider (610mm) version.
